Legal Advice Clinic

The New East Manchester Legal Advice Centre opened at The Manchester Settlement in October 2009 and is a collaboration between Manchester Settlement, the University of Manchester, the College of Law, New East Manchester and the charity LawWorks North.

The East Manchester Legal Advice Centre is is the first one of it's kind in the area and aims to provide advice to clients covering a range of different types of law.

The Centre is run by student advisors from both the University's school of Law and the College of Law under the supervision of qualified legal practitioners.

All advice is given on an appointment basis (appointments are currently held on Wednesday evenings)

If in need of advice please call 0161 275 0349, or 0161 614 317 and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Alternatively, please call into Manchester Settlement any day of the week, fill out your name and contact number on a legal advice centre details form and we will contact you, or else ask to speak to Liz Jackson, the Co-ordinator who is at Manchester Settlement between the following times;
Monday 12-5pm
Wednesday 12-5pm
