The Manchester Ball 2011 was a huge success and raised lots of money for our Education and youth activities. The funds will go towards positive activities for young people in the day and evening.

November 2010

New Roundhouse is shortlisted as one of the top 60 Exemplary Educational Facilities worldwide by the OECD Centre for Effective Learning Environments (CELE).

Manchester Ball November 2010

The Manchester Ball was established in 1987, and has been hosting annual dinner dances each November since then, to raise money for a chosen local or national charity. Manchester Settlement was the chosen charity for 2010.
The Manchester Ball was held on November 19th at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester and raised thousands of
pounds to help young people on our Education Project. A big thanks to all those individuals
and organisations who pledged donations and supported the event.

Dransfield Properties and Morrision's hold a reception at the New Roundhouse to mark to start of the construction of the new district centre in Openshaw

Children in Need do a live broadcast for Heather Stott's Programme on BBC Radio Manchester to launch their annual appeal

Michael Mansfield QC held a book signing event at the New Roundhouse and officially opened the East Manchester Legal Advice Clinic
