Why do we exist?
In March 2020, 25 percent of the British public were self-isolating due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) by not going out at all. 67 percent of respondents said they were still going out but a lot less than before, while three percent were going out as normal but only to open places such as parks.
Generally, prior to this 9 million people in the UK – almost a fifth of the population – say they are always or often lonely, but almost two thirds feel uncomfortable admitting to it (British Red Cross and Co-Op, 2016)
